BRENT Bus-Bar Tape is a high-performance, heat-shrinkable adhesive-lined tape designed specifically for the insulation and protection of complex bus-bar geometries. It offers a flexible alternative to heat-shrink tubing, especially where existing connections cannot be dismantled.
Our tape is engineered to provide a cross-linked, non-tracking insulation layer that significantly reduces the clearance requirements between bus-bars.
Flashover Protection: Prevents accidental discharge caused by vermin, humidity, or dust.
Retrofit Friendly: Ideal for insulating existing installations without dismantling bolts or connectors.
Contoured Fit: Easily wraps around elbows, T-joints, and complex bolted connections.
Cross-linked Polyolefin: High thermal stability and resistance to chemical solvents.
Adhesive Lining: The inner layer of hot-melt adhesive melts during shrinking, ensuring a moisture-proof, permanent seal.
